The TaylorMade r7 Limited is aimed at players who like having the ability to adjust their equipment to both promote and improve the quality of their shots. Where the r7 SuperQuad promotes a side-to-side change in trajectory of 28 yards, the r7 Limited driver achieves a change of 35 yards through the manipulation of only three weights (weighing 16-grams, 1-gram and 1-gram) and unlike its predecessors which were signigicantly draw-biased, the TaylorMade r7 Limited is neutral.

The r7 Limited driver also incorporates a new, modern club shape to deliver a head that is faster-looking than any r7 driver head before it and the exceptionally large address footprint provides it with a substantial and confidence inspiring appearance at address. The head is longer from front to back than the r7 SuperQuad head allowing for a deep centre of gravity to deliver a high and long ball flight and the r7 Limited also has an extremely high MOI measurement, which coupled with TaylorMade's Inverted Cone clubface technology ensures higher ball speed on off-center hits.
